I am a New York-based visual artist whose work explores identity, heritage, and empowerment. My work has been featured in Hyperallergic, Ebony Magazine, the New York Academy of Art, the Society of Illustrators, the National Arts Club, and many more. I’ve also collaborated on public art projects like the Marcus Garvey Park Sankofa Installation and murals across NYC. I hold a BFA in Illustration from the Fashion Institute of Technology and am pursuing an MFA in Illustration as a Visual Essay at the School of Visual Arts. I am currently expanding my art practice to include storytelling through garment construction and other mixed-media integrations.
