i’m kailee (ky-lee) finn and i am a multidisciplinary artist based in new york. i craft portraits that are more than likeness—they are spirit, breath, and echoes of lives that are often left unseen. i reclaim, reimagine, and trace the outlines of black life, bodies, and the quiet transcendence of identity.
i create not just to capture but to elevate. my art is infused with the rhythm of spoken word, the way metaphors bend and break, much like the bodies and souls i draw into being. it’s a conversation between what was and what can be, a vision of freedom.
it holds a deep hunger for healing, for awareness, for liberation, celebrating the infinite resilience of blackness. it is a love letter to the eternal—a witness to transformation, a prayer for boundless life.
