act ii

For the Love of God: Act II interprets the personhood of Jesus as the Word made flesh and examines how divine love moves from internal transformation to structural reform. It is expressed intrinsically through grace, liberation, and transformation, and extrinsically through justice, restoration, and communal repair.

Through biblical encounters with the marginalized—lepers, Samaritans, themes of loving thy neighbor as thyself transcend time to people experiencing homelessness, discrimination, and exploitation. This collection repositions Christ not as partisan figure but as the author of truth and justice beyond political alignment. His touch dismantled stigma. His words broke boundaries. His presence demanded restitution. Using garment construction as a theological and social metaphor, the collection interrogates occupation and the taking up of space in contemporary contexts of homelessness, bondage, and casteism. Through recycled fabrics, patchwork, typography, printmaking, millinery, and garment manipulation, Act II transcends the form of 2D illustration into 3D wearable sculpture.
